Supermicro Announces Launch of New SuperCluster Solutions for Generative AI Based on NVIDIA

San Jose, California — Supermicro, Inc., a global leader in IT solutions for AI, cloud, data storage, and 5G/Edge, is pleased to announce the release of three new SuperCluster solutions designed to accelerate the deployment of generative AI. These systems, ranging from 4U with liquid cooling to 8U with air cooling, are specially designed for high-performance training of large language models (LLM) and batch data analysis.

“In the age of AI, computing power is measured not just by the number of servers, but by the power of entire clusters,” noted Charles Liang, President and CEO of Supermicro. “With the expansion of our global production capabilities, we can deliver complete generative AI clusters to our customers faster than ever before.”

Supermicro SuperCluster systems are ideal for corporate and cloud infrastructures designed for training modern LLM models with trillions of parameters. Using NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, SuperCluster solutions feature high throughput and are optimized for large-scale data processing tasks.

The system design provides double density through liquid cooling, which reduces energy consumption and total cost of ownership (TCO) of the data center. This makes new Supermicro solutions not only technologically advanced but also economically efficient.
